Weapons

The Shiryodo Karate weapons program is open to all students who are blue belt or above (it normally takes around 2 months to get to blue belt, this is the first level you grade to). If you have previous martial arts experience and want to do this program you may start without training in our regular Shiryodo Karate classes.

The program has a rotating syllabus, doing a single weapon for a period of time before going onto the next weapon. People wanting to start the program need to start at the start of a weapon (unless they have done that weapon before). Some weapons will run for longer than others but generally we do a weapon for around 4 months.
